Please note that fostering is a purely voluntary role. You will not receive salary, wages, or payment for your time. Out-of-pocket expenses are not reimbursed unless pre-approved in writing. Any extra toys, treats, or unauthorized supplies are your financial responsibility. All medical treatment must be authorized by the shelter to be covered.

Additionally, the shelter is committed to ensuring a safe, respectful environment for our animal fosters and volunteers. By participating in our program, you agree to the following strictly enforced terms:

Zero Tolerance for Abuse: Any abuse, threatening, harassing, or unlawful acts directed toward our animals, foster care providers or staff will result in immediate termination of your relationship with the shelter and will be reported to law enforcement and will be aggressively pursue criminal charges or civil legal penalties. Any individual who commits these acts will be permanently blacklisted and added to our internal and regional "No Adopt or Foster" registry.

While our team is happy to explain the purpose of this protective policy upon request, these safety terms are strictly non-negotiable and cannot be modified. By submitting this form, you acknowledge that you understand the conduct boundaries and the legal and operational consequences of violating them.
